Words

In a time where you experience something that has impact on your life; emotional, physical or one in the same it seems words do not suffice as a medium of expression. Opening your mouth just to speak can be the greatest of tasks and can leave you feeling a great sense of dissatisfaction and drained. Sometimes there is no comfort in talking. Communication through images, body language or text are avenues which relieve the burden of explicitly acknowledging feelings within created by verbal communication. Why is it when we open our mouths to speak the intangible seems more concrete? Why is it when we say what we are feeling or believe it becomes more real? The spoken word provides velocity to realization, something we may or may not want.
